Getting a bunch of your friends to sing on your record always seems like its going to be so much easier than it ever turns out to be.
Here is a really decent sounding video of us playing the immortal Pixies classic "Monkey Gone To Heaven" at Antone's in Austin earlier this year.
Gaaaah...the first time my grandma had a heart attack was about 11 years ago. It was a big one but she recovered really well. When I went to go visit her in the hospital she was all doped up and the doc came in to ask her some questions. One of the questions was, "Do you drink or smoke?" and my grandma responded, "I don't smoke and I don't chew but I go with the boys who do".

Also, when I lived with my grandparents, EVERY DAY as I was walking out the door my grandpa would say, "Don't let anybody give ya any wooden nickels". Every day.
I probably wouldn't have said this but ya know...yesterday...
